Plus if you’re going to use the amulet as an excuse, you don’t get the one about Rainbow Dash being better than Lightning Dust because of her rainbow powers.

It does, considering the fact that while Trixie may have considered herself Twilight survival, Twilight herself couldn’t have cared less. So if anything it was just a one-sided rivalry that Trixie made up because Twilight outdid her that one time.
 
BTW, Alicorn-Trixie doesn’t even exist , more than a fan concept. So that doesn’t count.
