Consider the following. In for 800 years of heats, that would mean 292000 days of drought. no rain or snow. Plus by the time 800 years, everyone would probably be dead due to dehydration and lack of natural resource.

Fewer ponies to put their noses where they have no business and possibly find an artifact he’s supposed to protect. Then again, wasn’t that just said in the Daring Do book, which is not an autobiography, but a memoir, if it’s fictionalized in any way? Yearling isn’t necessarily a fully reliable narrator.

……………..I guess it’s up to you whether he’s sympathetic or not. After all, he is a giant Aztec dog thing. We have a lot of those running around threathening humanity ready to be judged for their actions.

Um, you missed the part where everyone has been talking about everything for 9 years? Trust me, I’ve been there!

I’ll say you all are starting to attack every single piece of the episodes…  
I guess mostly because this is the final season, but there have been worse episodes even in the previous seasons(always talking about continuity errors) and nobody said anything about them

He actually seemed like he might not have recognized her in disguise in “Daring Done”
 

 
The first scene we saw Caballeron in that episode, Daring Do was standing right next to Rainbow Dash… so the wording of “leading her right to me” doesn’t make much sense if he instantly knew who she was.

Because henchmen are well known for being bright enough to figure this out or think it worth mentioning, as opposed to dumb muscle who only do what they’re exactly ordered and paid for.

Goddammit writers! Why are you making things so difficult for us to handle in this season?! I really want to say “despite all the hardships this show has put me through, in my heart, this show will always be an A+ to me” but you’re making it harder and harder!

A.K. covered their eyes with her accessories, so they never actually saw her don her Daring Do apparel.

During Daring Done it seems he knew

Why would they tell him?

they died.

Did he think someone else was writing the books under her direction, or something?
 
Or he made the assumption that she’d go to her own convention in Stranger Than Fan Fiction, possibly in place of the “real A.K. Yearling?”
 
Caballeron never did mockingly call her “A.K. Yearling” in any previous episode, did he?
