Page 104 - Grand Line, Part 4
Guest author: DragonTrainer
DragonTrainer and I agreed that Luke and Cory, at least, needed some transitioning from D&D 3.5 to 4e. To that end, the DM allowed them to take flaws under house rules and apply some third-party content.
The DM has most likely regretted that decision.

Transcript:
Twilight Sparkle: Excuse me… um… Luke and Cory, right? Is it okay if I took a look at your first character sheets?
Cory: Hmm? Oh yeah, sure. Go ahead.
Luke: Basically, Cory made a unicorn swordsman named Snips whose special talent is cutting. I made a unicorn shaman named Snails whose special talent is snails.
Twilight Sparkle: Wow, you sure took a lot of feats. I’ve never even heard of some of these before. I thought there was a limit to how many you could take, though.
Luke: That’s cause we both took a bunch of flaws to balance things out. For example, Snails is a bit on the slow side and a tad scrawnier than average. In exchange, he’s got 360-degree vision, a strong defensive ability, and a spell that creates slippery grease.
Cory: Snips is short, socially awkward, and a bit of a jerk. He is also, however, the fastest when it comes to cutting. Each cut deals out large amounts of damage as well. Your DM won’t let me play him, though.
Twilight Sparkle: Oh gee, I wonder why.
Cory: Ah well, I just finished making an even better character.
