Man, all this ship rage in the comments. I bet I'm the only one that would've been in favour of Big Mac and Fleetfoot, even if that comic pretty much only established that Fleetfoot becomes a horny stalker after being hit in the head.
Still, I didn't read so much into the other ships people for whatever reason obsessed over.
What springs to mind with this scene to me is why wasn't Starlight Glimmer invited? Sure it's kinda of odd to have the former ruler of a village you were practically enslaved in come to your wedding, but given the shows whole thing of forgiveness, and the fact that they invited her back to their town, Starlight just seems like the only missing piece to this scene. You get the main four secondary characters of 'Our Town' there, but you don't have the one that drew our attention to them in the first place.
