The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

“Rainbow Dash thought that blindfolding Lighthoof and Shimmy Shake would help them develop their coordination and senses better. It wasn’t a crazy idea at all, really. But her sense of how long it would take was off. By a lot. And her hooves-off approach (really, hooves-several-hundred-yards-away approach) wasn’t the best when the two dancers couldn’t see.

They diligently practiced blindfolded, and were getting better, albeit slowly. In time it would have worked. But not being able to see does have its disadvantages. They couldn’t see the bucket of wet paint Yona’s stomping upended. More importantly, they couldn’t see they were both about to set hoof in it. Nor once they skidded on the slick wet latex, where they were going. Nor that where they were skidding was right out the door. Nor that the gardener had just watered, and even more unfortunately manured, the bushes outside, to beautify them for the upcoming games. Their heightened sense of smell did tell them the latter, but not in time. Right into the wet muck around the roots of a flower bush they went, falling and rolling through it as their hooves sank in and their front ends stopped before their paint-slicked hindhooves did.

It’s a good thing Rainbow Dash was going to get new uniforms from Rarity because that was not coming out 100%. But for now they lost the blindfolds, because they needed to hit the showers and the laundry fast, and exit them slow.”
