Here is the thing, YOU are the one who is antagonizing people here, by blandly disregarding facts. This is not even close compareable to Applejacks parents situation, we see them proposing, we see them in wedding dresses, in a wedding car with a “Lyra + Bonbon” besides it. How is this not clear? You’re clearly just trying to stir shit up or are so far up your own ass of homophobia that you refuse to accept it. This is why people are “triggered” because you’re not trying to be “let everyone think what they want” instead you want to passively force your own outdated morals onto others.
 
The fact that you don’t even realize it, makes it even worse somehow. Just look at this, we’re still in a heated discussion, one that you supposedly didn’t want to make happen. I told you two very easy ways to get out of this, and yet you didn’t do either, because unlike what you claim, you want your own opinion to be accepted as valid.

I haven’t seen the episode yet, but I do have thoughts.
 
Now before i get too deep into this comment I will say I’m lukewarm on the subject, I’m a Christian, but not an extremist that believes that LGBT people go to hell for it, because we are saved by grace not works. I believe that LGBT community can go to heaven.
 
Now that that’s out of the way let me get to the thoughts.
 
This can be taken two ways, one being that they are romantically inclined which again I’m lukewarm on.
 
Or the second way it can be taken is if you look beyond the subject matter. For ones who ship them in a heterosexual relationship you can just say the proposal was a dry run on each other before they proposed to their stallion friend and that their reactions was because the words moved them.
 
The newspaper article could be taken as an out of context photo giving how some new news companies work.
 
Again I mean no angst against anyone.
 
I’m just saying there are two ways to look at it. So let all the ships sail be it heterosexual or homosexual.
