Usually, when people say, that nazis' politics was better, that Stalin's, I just leave the dialogue and laugh. I don't want to waste my time for a theme of genocide – just go and read UN convention of 1948s about it.
I know numbers: 4 million prisoners and about 600000 of them were executed. And most of them were criminals, not political prisoners. It was taken from NKVD archives after Stalin's death, when Khrushchev started politics of "destalinisation". There is a big reason to believe them, because if number were bigger, it would be better for that government. But you believe some migrants and criminals, who left Soviet Union and selling books for propaganda was the best way to become famous. If you find any documental proof, that there were 20 or 60 or whole 209 millions executed, let me know.
History + simple logic.
Why do you think, you wouldn't survive in Soviet Union? I'm pretty sure, you don't know anything about live in USSR. Only from some western tv series, I guess. I talked to people, who live there and most of them miss that time.
Live wasn't luxurious, but they had social guaraties and confidence in the future.

Marxists want everybody to have equal conditions and opportunities for their future and don't want a single person was expolated by another.
Capitalis pay less to people from third world's counties, so they can pay more to people from Europe and North America and live without any worries. You have choice just because people on the other side of the world don't have it.
