Meh not really. The concept of canon is stupid anyways, anybody can decide what's "canon" or not to increase their enjoyment of something. The majority of the Star Wars fandom doesn't consider the new movies as canon due to them being made by corporate hacks who care more about an agenda then writing a good film and the fact that they contridict the old movies countless times, so why should we be any different?
