Meh not really. The concept of canon is stupid anyways, anybody can decide what’s “canon” or not to increase their enjoyment of something. The majority of the Star Wars fandom doesn’t consider the new movies as canon due to them being made by corporate hacks who care more about an agenda then writing a good film and the fact that they contridict the old movies countless times, so why should we be any different?

Well most of the bandwagoners have left since 2014 so it’s at least gotten a lot better since then. Yeah you still have the man children and the sadists, but that’s given to be present in any fandom that’s remotely big. At least this website gives us the option to filter that crap out, and on /mlp/ you can just pretend everybody is ironically being retarded.

I get the feeling this stems from something mildly “offensive” being said without the “offender” being banned and deleted for a thousand years.There are plenty of other sites that provide that form of “hugbox” you desire. Or, you could hide tags you don’t like.

Let’s be real folks. This website is pretty awful. From the depraved fetishes to the occasional mental/emotional breakdowns of manchildren to the mountains of comments about how ‘the show got worse after Lauren Faust left’, this websites is just an example on how nothing about this fandom actually changed. I’d say a few other things but I don’t wanna risk getting banned.
