Honestly, I was expecting Derpy to win (even though she didn’t make it to the final round, she still got the largest number of votes overall, which is pretty impressive) and while I was rooting for Applejack, I thought she might not be able to beat Twilight in the finale, so I’m all the happier that she won.

I’m shocked. A popularity contest that neither Starlight nor Luna won? I never thought I’d see that.

I was rooting for Sunset to win more than anything at the beginning, but I’m very happy that Applejack won. She was my next choice.

I was pretty worried at the start this would end up being Luna or Anonfilly given the early qualifiers. Very happy we got a Twilight v Applejack final and happier still that Aj won.

AJ is a nice appul pone. she deserves this little victory.
