Zephyr Breeze has actually been in quite a few EqG shorts. (Spoiler alert: Like his pony counterpart, Zephyr tries to hit on Rainbow Dash in them, too.)
I realize I’m in the minority here, but I kind of like Zephyr’s character. Maybe it’s because his flaws and shortcomings make him relatable…

don’t to be complaining of Zephyr that is not. They are both young adults. There are things in high school that you didn’t even know it.
Was there ever any explicit indication within Equestria Girls itself of Zephyr being younger than Fluttershy? Maybe it’s just a random inconsistency like Tirek being a video game character and he’s actually older then her in the Equestria Girls world.
How does EqG Zephyr even work? The whole concept of the original version was that he was a directionless loser adult. It can’t work if he’s a teenager and still has years to make something of himself. He’s Fluttershy’s younger brother.

Wait, never mind. He must still be in high school since he was in wood shop class in one of the shorts.
