Okay…well…will being the polar opposite to those grumpy, overreacting anons will make the relationship any better or worse? Do you really want them to force ‘appreciation’ onto something they’ve lost interest in, pretending to like something they clearly don’t?
 
To me, this kind of behavior is just as flawed, if not dangerous, as the anons’ behavior. For it only fuels and antagonists the passion on each side to continue their love or disdain towards the Object of Ire. The best approach is an apathetic one - to have no wavering feeling towards one or the other, willingly wavering it away like a leaf blowing in the wind.
 
For both love & hate spark a passion, but apathy is death.

I think you’re either exaggerating or taking some of the most extreme reactions and extrapolating them to the rest of the people who don’t like Pony Life. There are some weirdly extremely upset people, that’s true, but most just don’t like PL and expressing it in a fairly normal way.
 
I feel like people who like Pony Life are upset about the negativity it gets and overreacting a bit. Every time they’re describing those who don’t like PL or what they’re saying, they’re exaggerating the heck out of it (or, again, extrapolating the most extreme examples).
 

Well, okay, there are a couple of people saying that it’s going to be just shorts. I don’t know where are they getting this information. That’s not in the presser. Do you know where it’s coming from? Can we know for sure it’s just shorts? Because, yes, this amount of reaction is happening because people are thinking it’s going to be a full on show. I’m thinking it myself. So, can you clarify where the info about it being shorts is coming from?
 

We do have promo materials and the commercial. They were supposed to give us the first impression and they did. And some people don’t like it. That’s normal. It is possible watch a trailer or a teaser and decide that it doesn’t look good. That doesn’t make you a jackass.
 

FIM was created at a time when MLP franchise was at it’s lowest to the point that Hasbro didn’t even cared what Faust was doing (which is why she had so much freedom at the beginning) and also tried to make it as cheap as possible. First seasons of FIM were Faust’s passion project, not a cash grab.
 
Also, people would’ve had much more faith in this new show if it was still made by DHX and written by the same writers, but we know that DHX isn’t involved and we don’t know anything about the writers.

grumpy overreacting anons who think the fandom is dead because of this new series which isn’t even G5 and comparing it to TTG (when it’s more Unikitty than anything) even though they haven’t even seen an episode to fully judge it next to people who are actually willing to give it a chance before writing it off immediately? nah I think this about sums it up

Emmm… did you forgot that FIM is a reboot with a tone and artstyle aimed at little girls?
 
People don’t like Pony Life not because “we aren’t the target demographic”, we never were. People don’t like Pony Life because it doesn’t look like a good show to them.

Another stuck up artists trying to defend this garbage not realizing that the show transitioning into Teen Titans Go literally means the end of the fandom. There is almost no original fans of 2003 Teen Titans and this is what this artist is trying to archieve.

We had something extremely unique with gen 4. It was special to a lot of people.  
Now we have something that looks like obnoxious loud messy garbage akin to countless forgettable animated series of recent years.
 
The preview stuff we’ve gotten for Pony Life is supposed to give you an idea of what to expect for what’s coming. People are 100% entitled to judge and criticize it based on that.

No, they said regardless of its tone and style. The point is that pretty much the only criticism people have against it right now (and pretty much the only criticism even possible considering how little we have so far) is that the style is “bad” and that they don’t like the tone. Even though it’s completely possible that it could do a great job of being the new type of show that it is.
 
That doesn’t mean you have to like it in the end. It just means that deciding it’s definitely going to be bad based only the surface-level info we have so far is kind of sad. (I wouldn’t go so far as the image does in characterizing the people who are doing that, but still…)

So you like anything as long as it’s pony, regardless of it’s quality?

Heh, I was thinking the same thing.  
Its fine if people like it or whatever, but saying others dont like something because “they have a stick up their ass” is silly, too.
