Because he hasn’t fully given his love like the changedlings did. I have a story planned where he, and another half changeling pony named Lovestruck actually transform. Yes, it’s the same Lovestruck from the official merch. I have a theory that she’s actually half changeling and Shining Armor and Chrysalis’ unknown daughter, or perhaps a changeling that got stuck in a transformation. Sorry I went on for a while, I’m excited to make it. XD
