Foal of a locksmith and a farmer, Starry Night had lived a rather monotonous life in her early days. But when the tyrannical griffon Count Dusktalon’s descent into madness started affecting her friends and family, she knew that the only right thing to do was to oppose his cruelty. Years of guerrilla warfare in Visaginas’ forests have turned the once plain mare into a fearless leader of ponies and griffons, who promises a bright and free future to anycreature who follows. This future is set to become a reality in the new Longsword under the brave leadership of the Comrade-Marshal!

When I played it it was enough to make me do a Povner run immediately after.

Political arguments, contrary to popular belief, don’t have to be uncivilized in anyway. Nothing we’ve said so far was vile or uncalled for. At least none that I could see.
The problem with that theory, is you’d have to take an entire generation of youth under the “Caramel Marx” wing to make this idea funtion. And if we go by that scenario, (Which is 99.9% impossible to obtain) every government type ever thought up could succeed. Look no further then the Komsomol for Stalin’s own distorted form of communism, or the Hitler Youths for National Socialism. (Another impractical government type that requires the removal of envy and greed)

And I fully agree on the Watertowns statement. Though any campaign as them is a headache waiting to happen, what with their single research slot and zero factories…
I’d like to avoid political arguing and try to consider it neutral way.
Marx (or let it be his pony version) claimed, that social being determines pony’s consciousness. So in materialistic way – we have almost all our thoughts, behaviour, character traits because we grown up in certain conditions and society. So, we may built society of ponies without greed.
Besides, that’s just a game, where every economical politic has no disadvantages. For example, capitalist countries the game has no unemployment.
That’s just lack of balance.
And yeah, I really wish they would make a cool story for Watertowns. Their leader is so cute.. heh

Consider it as them simply being unbiased and realistic. Communism on paper is a good system, but when practiced in real life with human (or pony) emotions like greed, envy, or ambition, it is the definition of dysfunctional, impractical, and ultimately unusable.
I could make the same statement on Democracy, but I’ll spare you that sermon.
Lol, this is the only communist state, which works well.
Stalliongrad needs a big rework, Griffon Republic always annexes Skynavia, GLA may attack two states near and then just wait for a Wingbaria’s attack. River republic has no chance to become communist as AI.
The creator and the main artist of this mod is communist, then why there are so weak “red states”?
