Yep, Cathy Weseluck was the English dub voice of Near, in Death Note.
EDIT: Well, since many of the MLP voice actors came from The Ocean Group, there are other MLP VAs who have been in popular anime roles. Although, since Cathy is the main focus here, I just referenced another role she did.
