That’s was also just my opinion on the matter of paywalling. Considering, someone could just buy into the folders and then upload them somewhere else, which has happened.

Their reasons are often much more nuanced than that, and I’m still okay with them paywalling some of their work, in various ways. At the end of the day, they want (and need, IMO) to get paid for their work; if you’ve ever had the extreme displeasure of not getting paid for work you’ve done, and know the accompanying feelings of guilt, stupidity, and naivete, you know what I mean. Guys like TJ, whose passion, quality, and quantity come through in their work, deserve to be making money from it.
 
But that’s just my opinion. :)

I’m fine with things having a timed exclusivity, but never releasing art to the public can show that artists are either really full of themselves or ashamed of what they create and hide it.
