Description

Name: Hawk Eye
Nickname(s): Little Bird (by Ambrosia)
Age: 21
Birthday: June 1
Parents: Limestone Pie and Zephyr Breeze
Siblings: Turquoise Edge (younger sister), Fire Opal (younger adoptive sister)
Future Spouse: Ambrosia
Children: Bedbug (future daughter), Monarch (future son), Mayfly (future daughter), Greased Lightning (future son)
Personality:
The self-titled “coolest greaser in Equestria,” Hawk Eye has a cool attitude and suave style that turns heads. He can often be found polishing one of his motorcycles or greasing up his perfectly-styled mane to get the attention of the ladies. He likes to think he’s all that. But the truth is, he isn’t interested in mares at all, and most of his attitude is just bravado. While he’s not the brightest, Hawk makes up for it with a heart of gold. His loved ones would say that he’s one of the most caring and supportive ponies they know, even under that macho-stallion front.
Relationships:
In terms of personality, Hawk and his dad Zephyr have a lot in common and thus get along very well, although Zephyr isn’t the most responsible parent. Zephyr acts more like a friend than a parent to his son, especially now that he’s grown. Limestone is much more strict, holding traditional views that strain her relationship with Hawk. However, she was willing to accept him when he came out as gay so maybe she is capable of compromise.
Hawk and his sister Turq do love each other, but neither are very good at showing it. Much of their relationship consists of fighting, though they do have their rare moments of emotional honesty which remind them how close they are. Hawk has a much more relaxed relationship with his sister Fire Opal, even if her dragon hugs are too tight.
Ambrosia is Hawk’s special somepony. Having met through “connections” (Hawk’s nosy cousin Bedlam), they are currently planning to move in together. Ambrosia is a rich principal’s son from the “hooman” world and Hawk comes from a family of poor rock-farming ponies, so they seem different as can be. They compliment each other very well, though, with Ambrosia being more sensible and Hawk being more chill and open to risks, thus making a great pair.
Despite being gay, Hawk did have a “girlfriend” once. Being young and unsure about his sexuality, he dated Galaxy Guard mostly because he felt it was what colts and fillies were meant to do (with Galaxy in the exact same situation). In their teen years they came out to each other and broke up, but remained close friends and confidants. That ended when Galaxy’s father died and she developed a vendetta against Hawk’s sister, but he misses the good times they had together.
Hawk always struggled in school and never made it past middle school, but he owes it to his cousin Moonstone for helping him get as far as he did. She tried to help him when things were hard, and even now that he is grown and out of school she continues to be a supportive cousin. She’s easy to confide in, and also a good mediator whenever he and Turq are fighting.
One pony who is almost as wild as Hawk is his old buddy Firework. When they’re together there’s guaranteed to be either fun or chaos, depending on one’s perspective. They gave their mothers aneurysms as colts and continue to do so into young adulthood. While they spend less time together than they used to, they still have as much fun together now as they did as reckless young colts.
Cutie Mark:
Contrary to the hawk’s eye stone on his flank, Hawk’s talent actually has nothing to do with rocks unlike most of his family. He’s still connected with the family and always will be, but he has a hot-rod personality (hence the fire) which makes him stand out in a crowd.
