Yeah, don’t know what I was thinking with this one in hindsight. I just didn’t like images with girls dressed all sexy and yet saying “Ooooo don’t look” and somehow turned it into this.

@marik_azemus34 I’d believe your stated intention if it had concluded at “no reason to act meek or nervous”, but instead you went on to armchair psychoanalyze those who enjoy the trope and unnecessarily bring issues like autism and sexual coercion into the fray. Sometimes it’s better to quit while you’re ahead; brevity is the soul of wit.

If you’re making fun of stock anime characters, I get it, because that’s a case where emotional investment and base desires meet in an uneasy way. You have to choose whether you want to tell a story or appeal to goofy fetishes.

Is this serious? If so, it’s false. For one thing, you don’t need a reason to be shy or nervous. You can be shy or nervous, irrationally. For another, you can have emotional investment and nuance without base desires and instant gratification, and vice versa. Both are great. I’m not preferring one over the other by finding shyness attractive.

I like shy girls, cuase they awake the protective instinct within me. I want to care for them and shield them from any harm that might be affecting them.

Personally I like shy girls because it makes me feel less self-conscious about my own shyness whilst simultaneously activating that part of my brain that feels the desire to protect and care for something.
 
Also, I don’t push people into doing sexual things they aren’t comfortable with because I’m not a fucking rapist!
