This image itself is a dime a dozen edginess that you can already find worse of here. Only reason for the drama seems to be because it was posted on Twitter and went viral/stired the nest.

I actually would be curious how many had it filtered and how many didn’t. The site’s dynamic can be hard to judge with or without filters.

It’s quite difficult to parody those that are already doing a better job being the very things people mock them for. They’re VERY predictable.
@The Frowning Pony
He is indeed being facetious. That said, those stereotypes aren’t overblown, SJWs really will jump on completely harmless things in an attempt to stamp them out if they’re deemed offensive. Or have you forgotten Derpy, DWM, and the various Steven Universe fandom incidents?
I also don’t believe that the majority of users on this site will have this image filtered out. But you can probably check the facts on that for yourself and let us know.
@The Frowning Pony
That’s a neat stat. And nice to see to be honest.
My only measurement was the number of pictures produced in three days (via the trending tab.)
The fact that we keep a steady of over 2K pictures in 3 days, even in our era with far less cartoon content, is great, I’m hopeful we’ll last first for G4.5 memes, and then G5.
@The Frowning Pony
I mean as a whole not even twitter cared. Neither anontheanon nor Jargon lost subscribers with this.
Anon the anon gained around 300 followers these past few days, same as Wootmaster.
Jargon not as much, and somehow he’s the only one losing 25 subscriber on tuesday, but he gained that back the next day.
So yes, most people don’t care or at least mature enough to not throw a shitfit over this.
@Infrayellow
Last time I checked ~2y there were about 20k different users hitting the site every day and somewhat close to a mil every month, and apparently that’s managed to grow despite the final season. Most people are completely apathetic to the drama of the week.

Vote ratios don’t mean shit, most people figure out how filters work pretty quickly; far more people filter out rape and foalcon than people vote on it one way or the other, leading to a lot of the images under those tags having high upvote ratios despite a majority of the site condemning it.
@RAMMSTEIN45
He’s being facetious, parodying overblown SJW stereotypes is all the rage online.

If they’re so evil, how come they wear white suits? Science fiction has taught me that nobody dressed in all white clothing can possibly be evil!
