Agreed, I even recall many bronies complaining about the G4 toy designs.

I remember some had that same exact reaction when G4/MLP:FIM first came out ironically.

I guess with MLP, it’s not unusual for them to bring back previous gen characters. (In fact, many forget that Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Toola-Roola, and Cheerilee were all G3 ponies. Not to mention, AJ is G1, and the G4 ponies are based on G1 ponies.)

your current filter.I think Starlight’s probably going to be gone in PL & G5, due to how controversial she was, (and her toys not selling well) and even to this day half of the fandom either hate her, or are mixed on her. (A friend of mine still hates her even.)
I kinda feel sorry for her honestly, and ironically I used to dislike her too. (Which I feel a li’l bad about.)
The pets come with them. Maybe the other two will be Princess Celestia and Luna, Starlight and Potion Nova, or something like that.
