I think he’s both a troll and sincerely believes everything he says. He’s a troll at least when it comes to continuing to write MLP fics since he hates the show, but he really believes everything he says in them. The dude was originally part of the (surprisingly crazy) shipping community for Digimon Adventure/02 and has never gotten over the fact that Davis and Kari never got together. It’s in his username for crying out loud. He also (in)famously said on his Youtube channel “in my world, SPITE makes RIGHT”. So yeah, he’s a troll as far as MLP is concerned, but everything else; complete horrifying sincerity.

Oh, he also freely admitted that he puts Princess Cadence through the wringer just because she’s in a happy relationship and he isn’t. And in a spin-off fic-series called (swear-to-god I’m not making this up) “Friendship is Failure” he had a version of Beast Boy who went evil due to the previously mentioned ending to Teen Titans rip Flurry Heart’s head off. I mean, even if you don’t like Flurry Heart that’s still too far.

This is the same type of guy who claimed that the ending of Teen Titans gave him PTSD just because Terra and Beast Boy didn’t end up together. Dakari King Mykan basically a louder, more hateful version of Chris-Chan, only he actively revels in the negative attention. Also he’s probably a racist. (I know like everybody has been called that on the internet to the point that it basically lost all meaning, but reading his fics, especially the MLP ones, paints the picture that he actually is a supremacist, or has been raised by one and just doesn’t know any better.)

The character is the OC of somebody who hates MLP:FIM because he has no friends. Also he’s a supremacist. Both the character and his creator.
