why don’t you listen to yourself? They are compared to their ponies counterparts not because of age but because of how they behave by differently. She has the strength to wrestle a bear and other large animals with relative ease. Her having high strength doesn’t surprise me.

I have been wondering about their ages for a while now.  
I mean most, if not all, of them are driving without adult supervision and a couple of them even own cars.  
Not to mention they seemed to have driven the bus in Sunsets backstage pass themselves, though I am not sure about what permit you need to drive something like that.

It’s a cute design. I really like the artist’s work. Not many girls dress like that in real life, but since this is a fictional/fantasy genre, who cares? It could inspire fashion.
 
In a college campus I visited there was a student who wore clothes similar to Twilight’s style, but the purple skirt that was a bit longer than, light blue shirt, and had a pony tail. I bet she is an MLP fan.
