It would be the case if there was no interest in this pack but even to this day, even if scarcely, the pack keeps SELLING, and if it keeps selling, im afraid i cant give it for free. Imagine you pay 15 or 20USD for this, and then it becomes free in a couple of days? That would be unfair for you. Im sorry, but if you guys want to see this for free, the sample is in Pixiv already since months ago. And that’s all you’ll get. You dont like it? Sue me. In a day and age where porn can be found ANYWHERE online FOR FREE and EXTREMELY EASILY, its clear there is no privilege to seeing porn. In fact, porn sites that paywall their content are becoming more and more scarce these days and instead relying on a giving everyone a bunch of free porn but offering “live porn” as a premium cost which is a fair trade tbh.
 
You wanna see that cunt or cock live and maybe influence what they do to said parts? PONY UP THE DOUGH! In many ways its akin to what a twitch streamer would do for subscriptions or bit donations to their channel except more x-rated.
 
With that said, post product porn(aka: filmed and posted NOT live) is considered lesser quality since the view gets what they clicked on with no way to influence the actors or actresses in the video.
 
The same concepts apply to drawn art. You want the artist to make Fluttershy give Big Mac a wing job? PONY UP THE DOUGH FOR THEM TO DRAW IT! Since you have a direct influence on what happens in the artwork, it has value to be paid for.
 
This comic is an example of “Post product porn” no one had any impact on the content within it except the artist themselves and their whims. We get what is shown.
 
Does this mean it has no value? Of course not, even free to view porn gets its money from SOMEWHERE when its first initially released but after time newer things come out and that value diminishes, FAST and thus is eventually free to view for everyone.
 
Most artists these days know that paywalling their content indefinitely is bad practice and paywalling it initially is often frowned upon. Does this make paywalling a bad practice? It depends on how often you paywall your work. If you paywall nearly every piece of your top tier work you publish while only providing lesser quality artwork for free to be seen, people are going to question if you are even worth fronting the cash for to begin with.
 
If you paywall EVERYTHING, no one is going to want to front the cash to see your work PERIOD for fear of feeling “ripped off” if the quality of your work is not up to the standards they expected.
 
That being said, the best method an artist uses to make money is through commissions while showing off the art they drew of their own free whims to the public.
 
By publishing their artwork often, they show their fanbase they are still active and willing to give their fans the content they want to see while offering commission slots for their “valued” artwork.
 
TL;DR: Paywalling artwork is a BAD IDEA and paywalling it indefinitely is even worse.

You are not owed anything. The artist is not obligated to give you their porn for free.  
It is a privilege that you see any porn at all for free. If an artist toils away at making porn and posts it online without charging a dime, that is extremely generous of them.  
But if they want to be compensated for the hours they spent making this kind of material and aren’t letting anyone read it for free, then that’s too bad for you. Go find something different to spank your monkey too, quit begging for someone to give it to you for free.
