That sounds awesome! I should visit Italy as so far I’ve only been able to find horse meat in sausages and canned goods. I would love to try a proper horse steak :P

They also eat glue, feces, and bugs, so … not all that selective about what they consume.

Here in Italy we have many butcher shops specialized in selling horse meat. Eating horses is completely normal here.

Honestly, humans eat way more meat and dairy everyday than is necessary to live out of habit and cultural expectation. Not just Europeans and Americans, either. They don’t actually need to have either, certainly not two to three times a day everyday.
 
I’m not one of them. I skip a day here and there and would advise others to do the same, and reduce their servings if they aren’t doing anything physically strenuous.
 
I actually wonder how come Equestrian ponies consume dairy, considering that stuff is for the calves. How does this sit well with them?
