Dr. Horse walked into room 203 where the Princess of Friendship and his patient Rarity were waiting for him. Rarity was on a hospital bed, crying quietly to herself, and Twilight Sparkle was standing next to her bed.
 
“Hello Ms. Rarity, Princess Sparkle. I have the results of the rape kit.” He lifted a chart with his dark blue magic. “Before we begin, Ms. Rarity, you have to sign a release if you want the princess to hear.”
 
“Give it to me then.” Rarity said, her voice hoarse. Dr. Horse levitated the papers to his patient along with a pen. Rarity signed the papers and levitated it back to the doctor.
 
”Thank you.” He placed the papers on the back of the chart. “We found that you had some tearing along your vaginal wall, so we treated the injury immediately, and you have some bruising around your vulva that should go away in a few weeks.” He flipped to the next page of his chart. “We tested the semen we found but unfortunately it didn’t match anyone in the Sex Offender’s Registry or the National Criminal Database. We-” Twilight cut him off.
 
“What do you mean you didn’t find any matches?” Twilight asked incredulously.
 
“Unfortunately we can only compare the semen to ponies that have had samples of the DNA taken and stored in the database. Other ponies who have committed no crimes or have never donated semen can’t possibly be matched because we don’t have any DNA to sample.” The doctor explained calmly.
 
“It’s okay.” Rarity said, her voice breaking. “What else?” She asked.
 
“Well, the good news is we tested you to STDs and STIs and found none. The bad news is that we cannot at this time determine if you are pregnant or not. You’ll have to come back for a follow up in four weeks so we can give you a blood test. I insist you don’t use a pregnancy test that relies on urine as those can be inaccurate. Other wise, you seem to be fine Ms. Rarity.” The doctor flipped his chart shut. “A police officer will be in shortly to take your statement if you decide to report this, and I strongly urge you do. Any questions?” The doctor finished.
 
“Yes actually,” Rarity spoke up. “What am I supposed to do about this horrible feeling I have?!” The unicorn cried.
 
“We can get you someone from psych to evaluate you.” Dr. Horse said simply. Rarity bit her lip to prevent her from saying very unladylike things to the doctor, who didn’t seem to care about how this had all effected her. She decided to settle with a simple “Thank you.” and waited for the doctor to leave. Twilight put a hoof on her arm.
 
“What do you want me to tell the girls?” Twilight asked.
 
“Everything.” Rarity said flatly. “I can’t do it, I couldn’t bare to say the necessary words. You have to do it. Please, Twilight.” She looked to her friend, a pleading expression on her face.
 
“Of course Rarity.” Twilight patted her friends arm, then proceeded to walk out to the waiting room a few doors down.
 
“What do you mean RAPED!?” Rainbow Dash shouted in disbelief.
 
“Keep yer voice down Dash! Do ya want the whole hospital to know?” Apple jack scolded the furious pegasus. Rainbow Dash flew down from her spot in the air and landed beside Fluttershy.
 
“How could this of happened? When did it happen?” Rainbow pressed. Twilight sighed and looked to Rainbow with a sorrowful expression.
 
“It happened during the funeral, when Rarity disappeared.” The princess revealed, shaking her head. Pinkie Pie’s fur bristled.
 
“Rarity was violated…during a FUNERAL?!” Pinkie Pie said in a quiet yet harsh tone. She simply couldn’t imagine something so horrible.
 
“Yes, right under all our noses. And the doctor can’t find a match for the DNA left on Rarity.” Twilight explained.
 
“We hafta do somethin’ about this!” Applejack declared, stomping a hoof. “We can’t let this injustice go unpunished.”
 
“But what are we going to do?” Fluttershy piped up. “Go to every pony who was at the funeral and interrogate them?”
 
“That’s exactly what we’ll do!” Rainbow Dash smiled. “We find the pony who did this then POW, we take care of them.” She chuckled darkly.
 
“Slow down Dash,” Applejack placed a hoof on Rainbow Dash’s shoulder. “That would take too long. What we should do is carefully determine which ponies had a motive to do this, then narrow it down from there. We already know that it was a stallion, and that he knew Rarity well enough that she had no qualms about entering an empty room with him.”
 
“If the police can’t find the culprit, then we will!” Pinkie Pie announced, thrusting her fore hoof in the air. “Who’s with me?” She put her hoof out in front of her.
 
“I’m in, no doubt.” Rainbow Dash put her hoof on Pinkie’s.
 
“Me too.” Applejack did the same.
 
“You can count on me.” Fluttershy said, her normally quiet voice now soft but stern.
 
“Not if we have anything to do with it.” Said a voice from the doorway. The ponies looked over to see a police mare with dark sunglasses at the door. She walked over to the group and pushed away all the other pony’s hooves.
 
“This is an active police investigation, we can’t have civilians meddling in a case.” She flipped her sunglasses up to her head and out of her eyes, glaring at the group.
 
“Uh, actually we’re the Elements of Harmony, you know, Equestria’s saviors from multiple world ending threats.” Rainbow Dash announced, walking up the police mare and bumping chests with her. “I think we outrank you, and even if we didn’t, I’m sure the princess does.” She smirked while the police pony scowled. The officer looked to Twilight.
 
“Well? Are you going to say anything about this?” The police mare asked in a crude tone. Twilight raised an eyebrow and frowned.
 
“I think my friends are right. We do outrank you. Now please leave us alone.” Twilight said standing tall and outstretching her wings. The police mare scoffed and walked out of the waiting room, grumbling to herself.
 
“Wooaah ho ho! Now THAT’S the Twilight I wanna see more often!” Rainbow Dash cheered, putting an arm around the princess. Twilight smiled smugly and winked at Rainbow, then looked to the rest of her friends who were giving her approving looks, including Fluttershy, who was trying to hide her smile behind her hair.
 
Twilight raised her chin and folded her wings. “Let’s do this girls, let’s do this for Rarity!” The others cheered in agreement.
