I’ve been reading up a lot on Purple Tinker lately. She’s a transsexual rights activist so the way she acts is completely how most activists are, very sensitive about what they are defending.
 
I know I was in a group to stop organized deer slaughter in my area (as a method of population control). We were all very defensive of the deer and many people thought it was ridiculous. One of the hunters even threatened to kill us so there would be no more problems. The police had an officer oversee our get togethers after that.
 
Purple Tinker also put up a ton of items for the charity auction for #LasPegAssist, maybe more than any single person. I know I got some awesome things from her. =p Autographed merchandise from Lauren Faust and the VAs!

Considering their prejudice is completely unfounded, why exactly do you think it was a bad thing for her to be in the documentary? That’s like saying we shouldn’t have black people in the documentary because it might offend the white supremacists…

Ah, well I am just used to what you said leaping off into a rant about how sex is evil and sinful and unnatural and exploitive and blah blah blah. So if I presumed wrongly where that was going just iggy it, I went to college before, and that was one of the most aggravating things about it that wasn’t academics related.
