It doesn’t really sit well for me. Flash doesn’t do much when he’s got screen time. He’s too bland and anytime he tries to look cool, he just doesn’t seem all that likeable if he serves no purpose

Actually, she’s bia.
To say nothing of the fact both are straight, or Sunny is in either case. There’s only one man who has her eye, and that is official. Equestrian Twi has no romantic affiliation, though she can become infatuated when in the body of a human teenager.
To say nothing of Sunset Shimmer being straight in canon, and there is only one man who has her eye. And Twilight isn’t shown to have any interest in anyp- anybody. She could potentially swing in any direction with anyone for all the implication given, save a brief fling that went nowhere and never had a chance of getting serious.
