The spicy mare at the Tasty Treat was surprised and delighted when her bubbly friend Pinkie Pie invited her as a guest to the Grand Galloping Gala. Saffron heard of the grand party lots of times ever since moving to the city, but never attended herself. Luckily for her, she had the chance to see the beautiful castle of the princesses and meet countless ponies and creatures. She of course didn’t want to go informal, so in her free time, she went to the best clothing designer she knew, Rarity, to fix up a grand outfit. The unicorn was amazed, thanking her fancy friend and later on, arriving at the gala. Some eyes were caught by her, the pony dressed formally to present her home country, in exotic designs and shining fabrics, and a graceful veil to add to her beauty. This night was going to be like no other for the chef mare.  

 
Finally, the last big doodle of the day of Saffy. I decided to share it now since I’ll be at work training and I didn’t want to post it too late afterwards.
 
Like the belly dancer doodle, I had to improvise and get creative for Saffron’s Gala dress. I also had to get creative with the colors, going with stuff that wasn’t in Saffron’s casual clothing. The overall look was Middle Eastern and Indian inspired, which had to go without saying given the pony, of course. Gave the yellow decor lines a shine to give them a golden look, to give the outfit an exotic and royal feeling. The veil I thought would be a nice touch to top things off, but if you’re curious to see Saffron without it, there’s a little variant for that.
