Y’know, the “fainting couch” gag was done as early as season 2? And let’s not forget when she lost it in Season 1 a few times.
It was always her character.

that’s my point. they took one idea that was just one of her quirks in early seasons, then they overblown it in later seasons. Now it seems like it’s basically her character.
