We’re now at part 5 of Twilight’s Ascension which depicting Twilight Sparkle from the series finale(or Princess Twilight 2.0 as people seem to be calling her). When Princess Celestia and Luna decide to retire, Twilight takes over their role as the leader of Equestria. Over the years, Twilight grows into a giant similar to that of Celestia’s size and she’s greeted by a young unicorn named Luster Dawn. Although Luster is academically bright and gifted with magic, she displays little interest in friendship. Recognizing the parallels between Luster and herself, Twilight sends her off to Ponyville to learn about the magic of friendship thus starting the cycle all over again and “the magic of friendship grows”…..
 
Man, this version of Twilight took a very long time to complete but I think she turned out quite well. You may also notice that the characters have been moved towards the center to make the drawing more aesthetically balanced. I still have to draw the background and I still have some polishing up to do on the characters themselves. Please leave a comment if you have any last minute suggestions.
