Now that I agree with wholeheartedly - the alternative booru idea was just a matter of archiving, really. Still, you’re ultimately right - we need to put our admins’ feet to the fire and finally get to the bottom of who’s pulling strings around here and proverbially tar-and-feather them out of town.
 
And if I get banned for this? Well, it’s a free site - not like I can’t make another account in a few weeks.

It’s not hard to use an API to do an entire site backup but the catch is that this site has popularity and notoriety, this new site won’t. There’s a good chance it will sit with no new uploads for YEARS with maybe a few members joining it while the majority stay here.
 
The site admins KNOW THIS and while not all them take advantage of this fact to abuse their power against us, a few them do. No, what we need to do is a witch hunt for the corrupt mod/admins who abuse their power.
 
FYI: We’re ROYALLY FUCKED if the founder and owner of the site is one of them who abuses his power…

But in all seriousness, I hear ya. One of my images got deleted because I kept removing insulting tags on an image I uploaded and since I was following site rules they couldn’t ban me or punish me without me causing a dramatrain so they deleted the image with a bogus rule 3 reason since they didn’t like the fact I stated facts they didn’t want to hear.
 
Point being: Some of the mods/admins follow their own rules when its convenient for them and no other time.
