Yeah, but like kids don’t. A kid can’t just casually bring like a pet bear to school. Also, if you want like a direct comparison, how come it’s only okay for certain ponies to carelessly endanger others by screwing with a tornado they think they can handle, losing control of it and nearly hurting or killing others, and then not feeling even the slightest bit bad about it? :P

I mean we do keep dangerous animals in real life(lions, alligators, killer whales etc). I think it’s just that ponies know how to deal with these dangerous creatures exactly like how we know how to deal with our dangerous creatures. In the case of Bloofy, probably nopony knows how dangerous he actually is until it’s too late. The CMCs needing supervising thing is pretty funny though, but I think that’s so the episode can happen. Stranger danger doesn’ t seem to be a thing in Equestria

Totally. Like those kids who have that thing that turns into an outright tornado whenever it gets stressed out. Like, put that in real-life context: how would you feel about a neighbor who had a big dog that would just start viciously attacking people in the street every time it got worked up? XD

I just get a laugh out of how they sometimes act like real people and sometimes act like people in a horrific fantasy world. It’s like selective realism. Like, kids can have dangerous monsters for pets and nobody bats an eye even when it nearly kills a bunch of people, but a kit taking the train by themselves or staying home alone is WAY TOO DANGEROUS XD

I’m going off of that the cockatrice has conscious control over turning others to stone, so Scoots just has to figure that part out. Besides, a partial petrification has kink potential :P

The way I see it, if it’s okay to just casually have a cockatrice as a pet in Equestria they must have an over-the-counter petrification cure available XD

i hopefully she doesn’t turn some ponys into stone like some of her… Well you know… But only some her friends well not turned into stone like applebloom and sweetie belle and Twilight sparkle and rainbow dash you name the rest
