Why are people still tryna call fluttercord pedophilia. That doesnt apply to 2 grown adults. She isnt a child. Stop lol most people liked this part. If anything, sparotu would be closer to a pedo ship being hes a child and shes an adult. That doesnt apply to fluttercord.

Ehhh, obviously your biases blind you to all the episodes that mentioned Starlight’s past, as well as her feeling bad, (in the S6 finale she was even scared to return to her hometown, because of what she did there) and the ones developing her heel-face-turn, (like the episode dealing with her control issues) or her issues with Trixie, and Discord, and such she had hints of her old flaws, like her temper, relying on magic instead of a practical solution, and recklessness.
 
Honestly, I feel Starlight’s a more flawed character then Sunset. Ever sense Rainbow Rocks Sunset has been nothing like her first movie self, and is practically a different character, and Sunset’s probably saved the day more then Starlight has, and such.
 
Not saying Sunset is a bad character, (I kinda like her sometimes too) but honestly as Northern said many of the complaints about Starlight could apply to Sunset, as well.

we only had one special where sunset was not one of the two main characters. The shorts did have tons where the others got the focus but I remember in the earlier ones they literally gave her new talents just so she could be in it

Starlight is literally “Let’s introduce Sunset character into FiM but without using the real Sunset”. Same arc, same rushed reformation, same complete character change after reformation. Although Sunset sometimes acted angry like her old villain self when pissed off. I never seen Starlight being smug, manipulative or angry as her S5 self ever again. he just boring apologetic empty character. Rey Skywalker among ponies.

I kinda agree, Sunset seems to be more the center of attention in EqG. While Starlight’s appearances in FIM are usually just a supporting role. (And they kinda dialed back on Starlight’s appearances in later seasons.)  
The only reason she gets away with it, is because EqG doesn’t get as many “episodes” as FIM. If it was Sunset appearing frequently in FIM, and Starlight didn’t exist, then I’m sure people would be hating on Sunset instead.

to be honest as much as I do like sunset I do feel most of the problems people say starlight has applies more to her. Like actually stealing the spotlight
