U can be a hero and a jerk look up TV tropes Good is not Nice, Star swirl cares about saving the world he just had a cynical attitude about it.
And the show tends to override stuff that happened in other media…
We never saw him in the show before though
Except we’ve seen Star Swirl as a hero from an omniscient (or at least, non-Twilight) point of view in “The Journal of the Two Sisters” and the prequel comics, so you can’t really pull that one.
I guess Shadow Play was made to be like “Hey, kids, don’t meet your heroes. They’re jerks too”…
Hopefully these Season 10 comics can fix that.
That’s not what I’m saying. The writers confirmed that she was now a queen in the lead up to the comic release. The description of the comic also stated this. Yet they back-pedalled and made her a princess again. It’s misinformation and false advertising.
Disney Doesn’t do it that often It’s just a marketing title
“Queen” is associated with alot of EEEEEEEEEEVIL disney characters so they intentionally use the “princess” title.

Starlight and Sunburst are running it.
I just realized that Trixie is part of Pinkie Pie’s & Fluttershy’s team. Even though Trixie now has the job of student counselor. So what is the writer’s excuse for that?
Twilight
It would still be nice to have Starlight show up for any of Twilight’s big announcements.
That could work as fanart.
Yeah, no. She’s not a bad character, but she isn’t a good one either (took her 4 freakin’ seasons before she finally stopped acting like a b***h).
Obviously not, I was only joking about the idea of Starlight returning to her villainous ways as a revenge against the writers. ;D
That won’t happen. But the writers will continue to piss me and other people off.
Otherwise she might feel so left out that she’ll return to being a sociopathic cult leader. D:

Busy or not, I really hope the writers aren’t scared shitless to include Starlight in fear of her haters coming at them. I think it is time for Starlight to shine again in the comics, regardless of what the haters think.
Starswirl has about as many IQ points as Patrick…hell, Patrick was smart at times…
