This is quite similar to some characters in my works - EqG-like tree aliens who have converted to Rodnovery after being influenced by neighbouring human countries.
 
Mostly because they either like certain gods (such as Jarilo, the god of plants), or they’re desperate and religious enough to invoke whatever deities they find for their blessings. Or they were simply influenced by their neighbours, so they adopted the humans’ customs because they think they are beautiful.

This is a real cool dress for Rainbow Dash. This dress is cool without it being fru fru. But I will say somehow I kind of see this being more of a dress AJ would use rather than RD. It seems to be pretty practical after all.
 
Though RD being Dasha, a Slav, maybe a Pole, makes me think of how she has wild Sarmatian blood in her vains just as Polish nobles of the Commonwealth believed they were descended from those Iranian peoples and who posessed the Golden Liberty. RD definitely represents liberty, I say.

Dashka or Dasha is short, informal variation of name Daria which is common in Eastern Europe. By a coincidense similar to Dash. I used some Slavic elements for her costume here, result is not very authentic though ;)
