Reminds me of the CGI models from the live-action Pokemon and Sonic movie. If I had to imagine what these characters would look like without changing their design from the show, this would definitely be it.

Today I watched DJThed’s critique of the first official 3-D pony animation from Hasbro (video’s over a year old, just got to it today), and boy I can say this guy is particular when it comes to animation, for the good though. I mean he spotted every clipping and rigging flaw in that Pinkie animation. So if you ever wonder why stuff like this looks so good, it’s because he refines it and refines it again until it’s perfect.
