The ponies in Equestria don’t film MLP FIM, Hasbro does with microscopic cameras that they send there. And the Hasbro associates don’t go to Equestria but only send the cameras there to record it through remote controlled technology, and then bring them back to make an MLP episode.

The three would have easily dealt with the Windigos as evidenced by the fact they were barely concerned with them. Especially when they would have eventually figured out how to extract the princess’s magic without getting Discord’s.

Frenemies shows that the writers planned to reform them but 180’d half way through production for one reason or another. Given more time you know full well all 3 would have. Other villains had 3, 4 or more entire seasons to reform. Cozy only had 1 and a half. So only a hypocrite would say she should get worse than any villain who had longer than her. And of course the opinion of a hypocrite does not matter.

They’re just being edge lords. People also tend to forget about the episode Frenemies. Oh and dont forget how Tempest was also an evil pony who would have continued working for Storm King had he not gone back on his word.
