Much attributed to her future role as Princess of Friendship and her mother’s teachings (but also because she’s…well, her), Dawn has always been mature, and one to look out for her fellow creature. As such, she recognizes that her mother and father’s jobs are incredibly difficult ones, even when she doesn’t fully understand the extent of what Twilight does.
 
Despite helping to run a country, and maintain the friendships between others, Twilight still finds time for her daughter, even when its obvious she’s about to keel over. So when her mama accidentally falls asleep in the middle of her bedtime story, the little filly isn’t upset. She gets a blanket, gives her mother a kiss, and goes to get her father so he can take his wife to bed.
