I feel like since she drew it after the show concluded, and folks from Wildbrainz/DHX aren’t working on anything pony-related, I’d say this is fan art!

This tweet from Big Jim mentions the artist used to be a layout artist for MLP, making her fan art official fan art, but it seems like she was drawing fan art before she joined the show, so it’s hard to tell from what point to label it as such.
