Ponies, particularly statues of Thracian ponies. Though it’s quite possible that they remind mythology lovers that Diomedes and his daughters are connected to the man-eating Mares of Thrace. So it’s possible that this tribe of anti-friendship ponies may actually be carnivorous.

What are those two rearing fang-mouthed statues supposed to be, ponies or wolves?

If it’s set in modern mlp Starlight would be around as headmare which is very fitting. But I would still like the students to be the main focus

I hope the sequel will involve Starlight like in this event. The comic writers shouldn’t be afraid to use her now that some time has passed.

Hopefully this means we’ll be getting the sequel to feats of friendship soon

Ooh Feats of Friendship related story! That has to happen well after the events of the comic story if Starlight’s involved…unless it’s a straight adaption then wtf.

This story is based on the Feats of Friendship Chapter 3, except Starlight Glimmer wasn’t involved.

What do the models look like in game, I wonder?

Well this is somewhat a sequel to Feats of Friendship, but since Gameloft usually creates original stories, I guess we’ll see how good it is, before IDW Comics gives up an official sequel. I love the Thrace background; now we just need one without the characters. Although I’m glad Gameloft vectorized Swift Foot and Terri Belle, I’m not too pleased with the results. One thing is for certain when I make vectors of the Mares of Diomedes and their more-hateful-than-Zira father, the King of Thrace himself, Ill make at least Swift and Terri somewhat closer to the quality of the show and what the artists of the comic had in mind.
