I actually make a huge mistake on this… The comments and the retweets should x50m but I didn’t. It was late night and I drank to much coffee which made me dizzy and calculated everything wrong…

With each passing comment Rainbow grows thousands of kilometers taller (judging by the donation multipliers we’ve had so far). We’ve blessed Dash with such incomprehensible power yet cursed her with no way to contain, control or revert it.

If this was in-character Rainbow Dash then her current situation would be a nightmare come true for her as the element of loyalty and a generally social pony.
She can’t protect anyone because even the slightest show of force would obliterate everything including what she wanted to protect.
She can’t serve any role because she’s far too big for the small world she use to belong to and would cause more harm then good in trying to fix anything. Such is her raw power that simply being too close to any form of life jeopardizes its habitat and could lead to the destruction of entire ecosystems.
The only “gentle” option for our still loyal Rainbow Dash would be to stay as far away from everyone and everything she holds dear and live the rest of her days alone drifting though cold nothingness of the void. ;(

Who’s the real monster here?
When you consider that Rainbow went from 1.4 meters in a white void to towering 20.6km over Dubai in the first two images this would of never worked for her.
It begs the question; We don’t really know what happened in the period between those images. Did she have a chance to study and interact with individual humans at a smaller scale or was she suddenly teleported to Earth already too big to be able to see humanity as anything more than ant colonies scattered over an insignificant alien world?
To be fair, it is clearly our own retweeting, commenting, liking and donating that make her this big to begin with. Since she doesn’t have a choice in the matter anyway she might as well enjoy it. We only have ourselves to blame for this planetary destruction. :P
In reality according to Dash’s personality, she might be brash and reckless but she definitely wouldn’t want to hurt anyone despite her increase in size. So she would definitely be a lot more devastated about her situation right now.
Well… It mostly depends on:
there will always be some losses but there is options to reduce it to minimum. For example if growth rate is slow (mean she will grow couple days), first of all she should contact some authority - Why? If we assume gentle giantess scenerio, it will prevent some kaiju hunt/fight and shows your good will. ALSO only goverment could provide enought supplices to live until they find solution. Also - They will find some good spot to stay (and grow) far away from innocent people. Secound she could learn sign language - at some high her voice could make people deaf.
But these solutions works only if giantess goes couple hundrets meters. If she get bigger, I don’t see any solution for now :/ just than single movement makes catastofy. Also there were no enough supply for her and yes… I don’t know what anyone whould do at that scale.
the question of whether killing intelligent beings (including friends, family, etc.) is moral only because you can no longer see them and cannot contact them and the planet becomes just a big playground. For me - no.

Presumably if she wanted to be gentle, she wouldn’t have grown so big in the first place
She’s exactly where she wants, she likes it, and she’s gonna enjoy it to its fullest
So even if she was a gentle giant (like @Background Pony #27A5 would want her to be) and stayed completely still for humanities sake; the mere and involuntary act of a single hair falling off her body and back towards the planet would result in a shock wave comparable to a meteor strike or a nuclear bomb.

Accordint to random picture in internet I measure in px RD high and eyelash length. 1,4m RD got eyelash about 6cm. Soo, if we will convert the proportions, the 2150,3km RD’s single eyelash is about 92,2km.
Me Eyelash is about 0.05mm diameter (sorry, I couldn’t measure more precise, I haven’t got micrometer). IF ponys eyelash is same, then in proporcion RD eyelash is about: 76,8m in diameter.

That measure sounds lame so I split it in two options:
a) RD eyelash is long as in arts but thick as human eyelash. Than we got 92.2km long and 76,8m diameter
b) RD eyelash is proportionally thicker to length (soo I measure proporion human eyelash length to diameter). Than we got 92.2km and 460,8m diamteter.
3a. Weight of singple eyelash
if we assume, that eyelash is perfect cylinder and is made of ceratine (just like hairs) than we can calculate weight
cylinder volume (pir2) * high * ceratine density -> 3.143840cm2 * 9220000cm * 1,33g/cm3 => 567 772 898 918 400g => 567772898,92 tons
3b. Weight of singple eyelash for option B
if we assume, that eyelash is perfect cylinder and is made of ceratine (just like hairs) than we can calculate weight

According to giantess calculator and Energy released by Earthquakes both result release force compare to earthguake at about 7-8 in Richter scale. Its just like 500 kilotons of TNT. Most buildings are destroyed. Cities are in ruins, all infrastructure was completely destroyed and people crawling out from under the rubble could see giant, black and hard wall. Extremely hot because of entering into atmosphere heat. Yes… it’s just one eyelash. in the backgroud they could see how whole world crack and whole countries dissapear just under massive hoof. They could still feel lucky.
Ending: My calculation isn’t perfect, I just give myself about 45minutes for that and use simple maths for that, we skip Vmax, air density, perfect eyelash shape, how much would burn before reach ground - at that scale it would make much difference. Hope It will be enought for you.

What kind of punishment could you give such a giant? You can’t really banish someone to the moon if they’re 2/3rds the size of it… or could you?

I don’t think she’ll be bored anytime soon. The more damage she does to Earth with her ~285km (and growing) wide hooves the more mad Twilight will be.
The numbers are wrong but so is the stated height (albeit not by anything meaningful given the mind blowing scale she already is).
