If you haven’t already go like and comment on all the older images, they’re counted towards your multiplier as well. Search the ‘giant rainbow dash’ tag and it will be the top 7 results at the moment

That would of been be 210m * 500 which is 105km directly from you. but like @Background Pony #B1D0 said your multiplier effects everyones likes and comments in a positive way.

You donated $250 which makes the multiplier at least x500:
That makes each like at least 5km and each comment at least 50km

This image at the time of writing has 144 likes and this will be the 69th comment
144 likes now equals at least 720km
69 comments now equals at least 1,725km

When I say at least, it’s because other people have donated to so if someone else added $10 for example, the multiplier will be x520. You should also keep in mind that the status listed above don’t include Twitter, or the uncounted status for the previous images, both are included in the final result.

Well…I donated $250 dollars to his first tier on patreon, as long as that goes through then that 420 should be multiplied by 500 right? 420m x 500 should be…260 km?

I’m ok if I’m wrong, I just want to make sure I am understanding this.

Plus more comments make Dashie grow bigger so I’m keeping this conversation going.

@derp621
Yeah, I learned that a few hours ago. And if my donation went through…

I probably contributed a lot then with my comment’s, fav, and donation alone as long as the: ‘like * comments * donation’ thing is true…

But I think I did my math wrong actually. 1 like is 10, 4 comments from me so far is 200, so 10 * 200 is 2000m. Is that then multiplied by my (donation *2)?

Ok, I just made a donation to his patreon. Is a specific tier needed or can it just be his most basic one for the donation to count for the growth drive? I just want to make sure I donated to the right one.

Ok, so I just donated $1 for his patreon. Does that go straight towards this or do I have to donate to a certain patreon link to donate to. I just want to know so I know how this works before I do the real donation.

At 1.4m tall, Rainbow Dash can create a sonic rainboom and break the sound barrier by flying at least 1,234km per hour.
If her speed increases proportionally to her height, she can travel at 11.89 billion km per hour.
Light travels at a paltry 1.8 billion km per hour, meaning Rainbow Dash is 11 times faster than the speed of light.

Alpha Centauri is 4.35 light years away, so Rainbow Dash could fly there in roughly 3 months, assuming she doesn’t grow larger and get even faster along the way. If she doesn’t slow down in time, or at all, and collides with the planet it will explode bigly. Rainbow Dash would probably keep going and stop a little bit after impacting the planet, because she goes faster than light, she’d be able to turn around and watch herself turn Alpha Centauri into a cloud of atoms and exotic matter.

There seems to be two camps in the comments, those who think the growth drive went too big too fast and others who still want her to get even bigger.

I’ve been brainstorming on a way to allow for both mini-macro at the start and galaxy eaters at the end in case RavistDash (or another artist) wants to avoid immediately jumping to multi-km sizes at the start of a growth drive in the future yet allow it to happen later on.

Excuse my verbosity, this is the best way I could think to explain it:

Assuming that 1 like = 2m and 1 comment = 10m; instead of dollar amount acting as a multiplier it’s at a fixed amount just like upvotes/comments ($1 = 20m for example) and the multiplier is incremented at a fixed rate per donator (+0.1 per donator for example). This is done so that a single large donation can still be powerful but not game breaking and everyone who wants smaller macros can enjoy it at the start.

To keep the characters growth from stagnating with diminishing returns the per-donator multiplier goes up at a fixed rate with each new image (+0.1 per donator on image 1 becomes +0.2 per donator on image 2 for example). This would give donators with limited funds an incentive to donate later so that their money has more impact which should make the growth exponential as the series continues.

Algorithm:
((Likes × 2m) + (Comments × 10m) + ($ × 20m)) × (1 + (Image number × Number of donators)) (+ Last image height)

Donation Example:
1 doner : ((10 × 2) + (10 × 10) + (10 × 20)) × (1 + (0.1 × 1)) = 352
5 doners: ((10 × 2) + (10 × 10) + (10 × 20)) × (1 + (0.1 × 5)) = 480```

Image Increment Example:
Image 1: ((10 × 2) + (10 × 10) + (10 × 20)) × (1 + (0.1 × 5)) = 480 (+ 1.4 = 481.4)
Image 2: ((10 × 2) + (10 × 10) + (10 × 20)) × (1 + (0.2 × 5)) = 640 (+ 481.4 = 1121.4)
Image 3: ((10 × 2) + (10 × 10) + (10 × 20)) × (1 + (0.3 × 5)) = 800 (+ 1121.4 = 1921.4)```
