I think this speaks for itself, honestly. No, the "LGBT community" is not under threat by a giant government conspiracy of secret moon nazis. When you're arresting people for leaving tire marks on a rainbow crosswalk, you have total cultural hegemony to the point you need to imagine threats to justify acting so horribly to people.
And this kind of obnoxious behavior is why so many people get turned off by your messaging.
It sucks more to be gay now than in the 90s, because I have to reassure everyone I'm not some joyless commissar like all these hate-spewing "activists".
