Cozy Glow’s father literally tells her that her cutie mark isn’t going to get her a real job and that she’ll be wasting her time playing games, and they were not abusive. Her father did not beat or yell at her for his own sadistic pleasure. He did it to discipline her, and Cozy Glow deserved it. That is not child abuse. Cozy Glow should feel scared and bad for what she had done at home and at school. I believe children should fear and love their parents, always obeying them without question.
 
Also, there’s no evidence that Cozy’s parents didn’t come looking for her when she left. It’s possible they were searching for her the whole time. If that’s the case, then once Cozy was sentenced to tartarus, her parents probably decided that she deserved her punishment and moved on.
 
 
Tirek’s father told the legion academy to reject him. I didn’t miss anything.
 
Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow all chose to be evil on their own, and they were punished for their crimes.

Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow had a free will, a moral agency, and they chose to be evil. Everyone is responsible for their own actions, not the actions of those who willingly became evil because you did something to them. Even if they did influence Chrysalis, they didn’t tell her to conquer Equestria. Nobody can make you evil (unless they brainwash you, and none of the legion of doom was possessed or brainwashed). It’s all a matter of choice (Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow all have a moral agency).

That’s not what I see. She started out to be a friendly changeling and then those three made her evil and a psychotic villain when they killed her children. So is there fault that they made her this way and try to attempt to take over equastria countless times! And now twilight is doing all she can trying to reform her, which it should’ve happen in the season final, but no they have to turn her to stone instead, not want to bother to know her past sad life.

The ponies and griffon never made Chrysalis claim anything, just as Sunburst never made Starlight claim that cutie marks are evil. Chrysalis was never forced to walk down the wrong path, and those ponies and griffon cannot control her. She chose it out of her own free will, just like Tirek and Cozy Glow. Also, there’s no evidence that this destruction is what caused Chrysalis to reject Starlight’s friendship offer.

Well unfortunately for you I think chrysalis deserves sympathy. Is all the fault of those two ponies and a griffin that made her claim friendship is evil and walk down a dark genocide path,which is the reason why she rejected starlight offer of friendship in the end of season 6. How can you not feel sorry for her loss because of that!?😠😠

I’m not even sure it’s good in a vacuum, considering the author outright said that they weren’t sure they could do Cozy’s backstory justice, treat it with the proper respect, in a big tangent and yet they did attempted genocide for Chrysalis’ backstory. Also, Chrysalis being implied to be ready to counter since she didn’t trust them turned into “I’ll let them all trudge on through here, tell them everything, and not keep an eye on them whatsoever.” If Chrysalis caught them setting up one of those runes, and that’s how the conflict was sparked, by her questioning why they needed to do that, it would’ve made more sense, but instead, it’s narratively treated as if Chrysalis never considered it could happen.
 
It just makes so little sense for Chrysalis character-wise to never taunt anyone for the atrocities ponies supposedly committed against her people, if this was what happened, and it further makes so little sense for her to drop her subjects like a hot potato the second they turned against her, with her intentions being “replace them with ponies,” if it was about them more than her, in addition to the logic of why absolutely none of the changelings would side with her over Thorax. Word-for-word, she wanted to build a new hive with ponies; it was never “reclaim/save my hive from themselves.”

So much for “one bad apple can spoil the barrel”.

Usually people get up in arms about that and act like Luna all the way to Starlight had any more justifications, nice to actually find someone who’s at least consistent.
 
I’ll defend the trios’ right to an attempt at a redemption till the sun goes out but thats mostly because of circumstances and the hypocrisy of the show.
 
I’ve got no real illusion of them being innocent, more so them being arguably the scapegoat or a symptom of something else given the overarching context.
