God no, I’m an 80s kid. I’ve learned to NEVER attach myself to any cartoon as toy advertisement shows. Today’s hype is tomorrow’s flaming dumpster fire.

As a Pokemon fan, I’m used to fans only caring about one generation of a franchise. I didn’t want to be a genwunner then, I certainly don’t want to be a G4 purist now.
 
Truth is, I don’t really have the energy to dislike things with how my life is going right now. I think it’s easier to just enjoy with no more worry for the this side of things. I firmly believe no matter how G5 will turn out, it’s gonna be a fun watch nonetheless.

In terms of animation, yes. Writing remains to be decided on.

Nah, apparently this new thing needs the wagons circled before it even comes out.

I don’t understand why all this drama, just because people are fans of the G4 doesn’t mean they will hate the G5 since it should be its sequel.  
We haven’t even seen the movie yet and already people defined themselves as a G4 or G5 purist?  
This story of labeling people is something racist to do that will only bring trouble to the fandom.  
So can people, please, just enjoy what they like without having to feel the finger being pointed at just because their opinion is different from that of others?

fair enough.

My one problem with the new generation is that it’s starting as a movie before going into a TV show, so are we going to get VA’s that try to imitate the stars of the movie, are the VA’s from the movie also doing the show or is the show going to have new characters and VA’s set in the same world?

Neh. G4 was the only generation I watched. Never watched the uh, 80’s version and up. As much as I favored it’s artstyle and characters I mostly always welcome a new change, even Pony Life. (Except for that new crap version of Jake Long back in the early 2000’s. I never welcomed that)
