@Penguin Dragneel
After you decided to go all Obi-Wan and try to claim to high-ground over what was a pretty obvious joke about rainbow lasers.
“AlL oPiNiOnS tHaT aReN’t MiNe ArE iRrElEvAnT.” Such yummy obnoxious virtue signaling at the drop of a hat.
And you know what? You do have the right to express your borderline trollish displeasure on every single page of the comic and get into long arguments over it. You do. I never said you didn’t.
It just makes you an absolute and total hypocrite when you tell someone else to get off the internet and get a life.
So either take your own advice or learn some self-awareness.
Not even true given this particular discussion was the result of you mockingly telling me “You do realize that’s just your opinion” if you recall?
And I’m not the one getting constantly anal over every page of a comic that’s all about something I write on every page of that comic that I don’t like the concept of and don’t agree with the possibility of.
Give it a rest buddy. This site has a million horses, but your high horse isn’t one of them.
It was cruel when Celestia and Luna turned them to stone in the first place, not because they had to, but to get back at them. The elements didn’t turn them to stone. What right did they have to do that?
And now, even though they’ve not done anything at all, Celestia and Luna are just going to throw them into some sort of barren wasteland where they almost certainly won’t survive. Again, that’s just cruel.
If this isn’t seriously wrong, especially to the powers of Friendship, what is? They stop willingly or by force. That’s their choice, but they won’t be getting away with it.
It’s only invalid if Twilight were going to turn Celestia and Luna to stone or lock them away forever like Celestia and Luna like to do. That’s not what’s happening here.
Rainbow Lasers only happen when bullies try to throw their weight around and force everybody else to do what they want. If you get hit by one, it’s your fault.
If Celestia and Luna want to force their way, Twilight has every right to stop them, just like she’s stopped everyone else who’s tried to just do whatever they want.
@SunlightDrifter
If twilight does that to them then the whole point of this comic is invalid of the lesson of “should talk things out or try to change the minds of those who are misguided” unless the comic really wants me to believe there more unreasonable than the trio.
Your opinion is, “Come on, let’s just kill them or do worse”. So yes. It IS irrelevant and always has been. Labeling your cruelty as “an opinion” does not make it worth listening to.
