There’s always treasure hunters though. Searching for artifacts is a huge trade, moreso now than ever that Twilight and co started confiscating the cursed ones: used to be you could get a power-amplifying evil artifact for a song, but now that it’s known Twilight and Zecora will take them off ponies their price has gone up ten-fold. Gotta love supply and demand :P

I never gave it much thought, to be honest. I really couldn’t think “way” for her to eat or gain strength or anything like that, so I just sort of never tried to answer the question XD

Depends on how much she likes having been “stolen” by you. If she likes it, she’d change her default appearance so now the painting looks much different than “the one that was stolen”. If she didn’t like it, she’d call the cops on you herself XD

It has a lot of still-functioning traps, some of which seem lethal. Maybe it’s just too dangerous to go there. Also too it’s in the middle of the crawling-with-actual-monsters Everfree Forest so not a whole lot of ponies might be too scared to try :P
Things like monsters, curses, and etc are actually confirmed to exist in Equestria, unlike in real life where whether such things or not exist and to what extent is unknown. A place “haunted by a dangerous ghost” in Equestria would be the equivalent to a place “inhabited by a dangerous animal” in real life :P

Then I just realized that Aka would probably be there to try to clean up all of the dirt that is there, but she would be unable to get every last bit of it without venturing there multiple times.
Then the painting and other monster pony will just have to have some fun with her like they always do in Badum’s images. :P
People visit Alcatraz despite rumors of it being haunted. Also, what if Princess Twilight did see something suspicious like that on one of her journeys?
I mean Celestia always only sends Twilight and her friends to clean and preserve her and her sister’s old castle, and because of a rumor of a it being haunted, not many ponies would probably dare to visit. :P

Are you sure? The castle, and possibly the city surrounding it if any exists, holds great historical importance to Equestrian history and I have little doubt that there is at least one society dedicated to its preservation.
