Um, you do realize that Tara Strong doesn’t necessarily need to return for Twilight to make a cameo appearance, right? Much like how the G5 characters had different VAs, a character like Twilight could also use a different VA as well. And it would make sense, since an older Twilight would naturally sound different than she did when she was younger.

Considering the fact that both Sunny and Twilight are the protagonists of their respective series and that both either have or likely will become the leaders of their respective kingdoms, this scene makes total sense. Honestly, I would love to see Twilight make a reappearance to mentor Sunny, similar to what Obi-Wan did with Luke following the former’s death in Star Wars Ep. 4. It would be a neat way to ‘pass the torch’ to the new generation properly.
