‘Pony Life has better art style.’ Not really.
A fan animated ‘Pony Life’ far better than Hasbro did and I’m betting Hasbro would’ve been embarrassed if they saw that the fan-made animation of ‘Pony Life’ was far better than the animation in their animated TV series.

If ‘Pony Life’ had looked exactly like that fan-made animation, then the series could have been very successful. Hasbro was stupid not to copy off their toys for the animation and took a different approach with ‘Pony Life’ which was why it failed right away.
Luckly, ‘Tell Your Tale’ looks slightly better than ‘Pony Life’ so it’ll do a little bit better than ‘Pony Life’ did.

Could kind of say the same about the pony life faces, their smiles are going over their eyes. Personally I don’t mind either art style, and I’m just happy we’re getting some stuff to hold us over till the specials

May just be a personal preference, but I still like ‘Tell Your Tale’s’ art style more than ‘Pony Life’. The ‘Pony Life’ faces kinda gives me the creeps.

‘Tell Your Tale’ feels a bit like an improved ‘Pony Life’ to me. The artsyle is less jarring, the characters have a bit more heart, and there are a few more legit emotional moments. Though other than that, they are pretty similar.
