According to the history books I found, black guard is the thing that formed by bureaucrats misusing Mao’s Ten List and send “working group” from the party.
Real red guards Mao has supported is formed only by people, not by bureaucratic beneficiary group formed within ccp after taking over the nation and digested a lot of ex-kuomintang officers.
Remember that ccp is not a format tower produced mob and when most of the bureaucracy formed beneficiary groups they become a new exploitation class by the name of government control.

Sorry, but this creation is indeed a hell joke for the Chinese people. First of all, as a Chinese student, I systematically learned about the ten-year turbulent period when China’s socialist development suffered serious setbacks. As for the characterization of the cultural revolution, I can say that it was a counter revolutionary movement that was wrongly launched by the leaders and eventually used by the reactionaries. The cultural revolution has seriously delayed the development of education in China for ten years, so we have stagnated the college entrance examination for ten years. However, in any case, the little horse under this picture is what we call the “Red Guards”. They are a group of extreme socialist supporters affected by the reactionary revolution. They mistakenly take class struggle as their program, which is a serious loss to us. But what I want to say is that we are not proud of it. On the contrary, it has become an important political reflection.
